"vessels of song", meaning "musical instruments" in Hebrew; in Yiddish, "klezmer" refers to a professional Jewish instrumentalist) is a music with origins in Eastern Europe.〔Judaism: A Quarterly Journal of Jewish Life and Thought, Issue issue, no. 185.
